If you have attended one of  the WiSe clinic locations and you have had some sexual health screening done, the results process is as follows;

If you have asked to receive your results by text;

-If all results are negative and no further action is required, you will receive a text to say everything was fine, approximately 10 working days after your test.

-If a result is positive or needs further action, you will receive a text or phone call asking you to contact the clinic.

If you have asked to receive your results by email;

-You will need to fill in an email consent form, if this is not filled in, we are unable to email you your results. Please make sure that you write your email address clearly on the form.

You can ring the Department of Sexual Health for your results, however there may not be a nurse or doctor available straight away to speak to you, however they will ring you back once free.

If you require written evidence of results,  there is no charge for this service, you will need to let us know if you require your results in writing, once your results are back, we will phone you to let you know your results are ready to pick up from the Department of Sexual Health, Salisbury District Hospital.

In some cases, treatment may be offered on the day and tests for further infection or for confirmation will be sent to the lab.

Positive Results

If an infection is found, we will need you to come back to the clinic for treatment. When you return we will give you clear instructions about treatment you need and how long to take it for.

We will also discuss whether your partner/ previous partners need treatment as well.

All treatments are free, we do not charge you for your prescription, if we do not have the treatment in our clinic, we will give you a hospital prescription to collect from the pharmacy at Salisbury District Hospital, this prescription can only be collected here and cannot be taken to pharmacies outside of the hospital. You will not be charged for this prescription.
